Let me start off by saying these two have to be one of the most laid-back, fun couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Sara & Vute met while playing basketball and they’re both musicians! Their chemistry was evident almost as soon as I met them – the way they fed off eachother was […]
I love harassing my friends into letting me take their photos! Because my old friend from High School Gen is so awesome, I was able to drag her boyfriend and her out in the freezing cold Calgary weather to make some adorable (but quick) photo magic. Gen is honestly one of the smartest people I know, and she has the coolest cats ever. There’s literally nothing not to love about her.
Last month I got the chance to work on a beautiful, fall Canmore wedding with the phenomenal Sarah Beau Photography. My day started with going to hangout with Andrew & his groomsmen, which, like most groomsmen, were hilarious and high-spirited. The ceremony took place outside at the Canmore Golf & Curling Club. It was absolutely stunning! And luckily the weather was just warm enough. It was a beautiful, intimate wedding that I am so happy I got to be a part of.
Riana and Zach’s wedding day was absolutely sweet. The two had a traditional church ceremony at the St. Albert The Great Parish in Mackenzie Town, before following up with the reception at the Metropolitan Centre downtown. The best part about their wedding, to me, was the personal touches they added to their day. From having a hockey jersey as a guestbook to naming their tables based on various hockey teams, it was clear that this couple were die-hard hockey fans. I was so lucky to be able to work on this wedding with the extremely talented Sarah Beau Photography. Here are some of my snippets from the day.
This wedding was one of the most high energy, fun-filled weddings I’ve ever got the change to work on. Pamela and Kofi were all smiles the entire day of the wedding. With families with strong african roots, this wedding was a party in itself, I had a blast and am so lucky I got to take part in such a great time celebrating two people who are perfect for each other.
On July 26, I was fortunate enough to second shoot with the amazing team at We Image for Thanh & Clarence’s wedding. My day started off with shooting pictures of the bride and her adorable bridesmaids getting ready at the Westin in downtown Calgary, (which is a gorgeous hotel!) The pictures speak for themselves, Thanh was an absolutely stunning bride.
The ceremony was held at the Chinese Cultural Centre and then we took off to Stephen Avenue for some group photos. The reception, which was authentic, hilarious and full of energy, was held at the Regency Palace Restaurant in China Town.
Here’s a snippet of some of my images from the wonderful day!
